Clint Berdeen, DVM
Dr. Berdeen graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. In 2006, he purchased Pointe south Animal Hospital and has been happily serving Randleman and the surrounding communities ever since! He enjoys spending time with his family (Nancy & their 3 kids) and pets which include two miniature horses, six dogs, five cats and his salt water fish. He also enjoys working outside and going to the gym.
Anne Highley, DVM
Dr. Highley graduated from the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She has been with us at PSAH since 2013. Dr. Highley loves the outdoors and her dog Charlie!
Marisa, Receptionist, veterinary assistant
Marisa is a Randleman native who’s passion for animals led her into veterinary care in 2013. Over the past decade she’s gained experience working with rescues, daycares, grooming and veterinary clinics in NC and Alabama. Outside of PSAH, Marisa spends her time caring for her family as well as her 2 dogs named Emma and Layla as well as her 2 cats Little Bit and Sassy. She enjoys crafting and baking.
Nancy Berdeen, Registered vet tech/Hospital Manager
Nancy graduated in 1990 from Blue Ridge Community College, VA with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Prior to purchasing PSAH in 2006 with her husband, Nancy worked as a surgery technician in Greensboro and taught therapeutic horseback riding at HorsePower. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family (Dr. Berdeen & their 3 kids) . Nancy’s favorite part about working at PSAH is helping the clients.
Caylin, Registered vet tech
Caylin lives in Liberty, NC on a small beef farm. Growing up on the farm instilled in her the love of animals she has today. Caylin is a graduate of Central Carolina Community College’s Veterinary Technician program and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. Caylin enjoys spending time with her four dogs: Brodi, Danni, Dudley and Shane, two cats: Socks and Hollies, two horses: Skippy and Bert, and two pet cows: Charlotte and Maggie.

Celena, Registered vet tech, inventory manager
Celena joined the PSAH team this past year. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from Gaston College in 2009. She has worked in veterinary medicine for over 15 years! Celena is mom to 4 cats, Whisper, Sugar, Luna and Spitfire and one dog Yennefer. When she is not at work she loves to bake, craft and spend time with her husband William and daughter Willow.
sunshine, KENNEL Attendant
Sunshine became a member of the PSAH family in August 2022. She is from Gainesville, Florida and attends Uwharrie Charter Academy. She enjoys taking her dog Lady Bear to Hagan Stone Park for walks and to explore. She lives with Willa-Bean her cat, Toothless a bearded dragon, Beep her crested gecko, and 3 fish. She also enjoys watching her favorite pet related movie “Bolt”.

Ana, Kennel attendant
Ana just started with us in October of 2023. She is a student at Providence Grove High School. She loves to hike and her favorite food is pizza! She enjoys spending time with her family and her pit bull named Leia
Cheree, Veterinary Assistant
Cheree is from New Bern and lives in Asheboro. She currently attends Penn Foster and is completing her degree in Veterinary Technology, which will allow her to better care for her patients. She loves bonding with all of our clients and their pets that walk through our doors. When she is not at work, Cheree can usually be found behind her camera lens taking photos or hiking in the mountains with her husband and her dog Cash. She also has a cat named Arrow.
Myra, FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR
2023 marks Myra’s 27th year at PSAH! She is from Trinity NC. Myra really enjoys the feeling of family she has with her co-workers as well as with our clients and patients. When Myra is not at work, she enjoys fishing, kayaking, cycling, sewing and needlework. Her family and her Chihuahua Bear are usually by her side cheering her on!
Martha, Veterinary Receptionist
Martha lives in Randleman and has worked at PSAH for 7 years! She loves being upfront to greet people when they come in the door and help them with their pets. When she is not at work, she can be found with her husband antiquing, cooking and traveling. They share their home with 7 dogs, 4 cats and a parrot.
Lauren, kennel attendant
Lauren just started with PSAH this year. She is in high school at Providence Grove. She loves spending time with her family and her pets. She has 2 yellow labs named Brutus and Shelby, and 2 black cats named Kitty and Binx. Pictured here with with one of her favorite patients Brutus!
Brooke, Receptionist/veterinary assistant
Brooke grew up in Greenville NC. She has a certification in human optometry. Brooke worked for PSAH briefly back in 2019 before moving to Wilmington. Fast forward to 2022 and she is back in Randleman and back on our team here at PSAH. She loves the family atmosphere of her co-workers while at work. In her free time Brooke loves to spend time with her 3 dogs Dixie, Boomer and Ava. She loves to pet sit, craft and do anything that involves being outside and with family!
KAIA, KENNEL ATTENDANT
Kaia joined the PSAH team in June of 2021. She has lived in NC for the past 9 years and is originally from Minnesota. She is a senior in High School and lives with her family, 2 dogs and a cat. When she is not at work she loves to hang out with family or friends, walk her dogs, draw or read. Kaia loves to take care of your pets when they are here at PSAH and spoils them rotten!
Reese, Veterinary assistant
Reese joined the team at PSAH in August of 2021. She is a graduate of Randleman High School. Reese lives with her mom and 7 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses and chickens. Reese spent a lot of time here growing up because her mom used to work as a full time Veterinary Assistant. Reese loves her co-workers and learning about veterinary medicine as well as caring for the pets while they are staying here!
jessica, kennel attendant/Veterinary assistant
Jessica is a graduate from Alamance Community College with an Associates Degree in Animal Care. This gives her the expertise she needs to care for your pets while they are here boarding with us! She has 5 cats, a betta fish and 2 African dwarf frogs. She likes working here at PSAH because it helps her learn more to prepare for her future career in Veterinary Medicine.
Anika, veterinary assistant
Anika has been a part of the PSAH team since September 2020 . She graduated from Central Carolina Community College in Veterinary Medical Technology in May 2020 and plans to become a registered technician in the future. Anika’s favorite thing at PSAH is getting to know all of the clients and their pets. She enjoys spending time with her family and her 2 cats (McKenzie & Purrdy) and playing volleyball.
